About the role
We are looking for a People & Culture Lead to own the entire people function at TelSource Labs. You will build hiring pipelines, shape our remote-first culture, and ensure our team of senior engineers stays engaged, supported, and growing. This is a foundational role with a direct line to company leadership.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end recruitment for engineering, BD, and operational roles across India
- Design and run a structured hiring process that attracts senior talent and filters effectively
- Build onboarding programs that get new hires productive within their first week
- Develop and maintain HR policies, benefits, and compliance for a remote-first team
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, performance review cycles, and career growth frameworks
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, compensation benchmarking, and org design
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of experience in HR, people operations, or talent acquisition in a tech company
- Proven track record of hiring senior engineers in a competitive market
- Strong understanding of Indian labour law, payroll, and statutory compliance
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across a distributed team
- Experience setting up people processes from scratch in a growing startup
Nice to have
- Experience in IT services or software consulting companies
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms and applicant tracking systems
- Background in employer branding or talent marketing
